This’ll be my 1st entry to the People’s Gallery year long exhibit at Austin’s downtown city hall since the mid-2000s

A lot of things’ve – thankfully – have changed since back then.

One there’s no entry fee any more – yay! 😊

There’s “way” more folks living downtown and able to visit city hall and the walls of art than ever before.

And my art’s – I think – more attune to Austin than “back then” lol! I’d applied ( with fees ) 3 times in the mid-2000s and never made it in.

All in all, it’d be a great treat and a huge honor – even with a ton of art being chosen now each year 😊 A long time artist friend of mine, Greta Olivas, was selected a few years ago, and it made a big difference for her; so it’s definitely worth another try – esp w/out the fees ☺️
