February 19, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue with Gold Twilight

Typically I don’t post back to back about my new Fine Art America uploads, but Blue with Gold Twilight, besides being one of my better efforts, lol! is also part of a group of 3 paintings I’ve recently submitted to Creative Art Society here in Austin for their Online Market.

As a member I’m allowed x # of items and I picked 3 I felt would both appeal and be work I could ship if needed. Plus, I’ll have the upload to Fine Art America and this blog post to point to.

Sized a little smaller than my other small color field panoramas ( 12×24 ), it’s also on regular stretched canvas, vs gallery wrapped w/a 1/5 inch depth. I can price these a bit lower and hopefully being able to ship if not sold to someone in the area.

Thus the timing of this post now vs a few days or week later.

I was surprised how well I “took” to this slightly smaller size, probably mostly because it’s also a 2:1 ratio, vs same an 8×10 or even 18×24. Panoramas seem to suit me. They must, I’ve had a pano category on Fine Art America a long time now, for photography & art ❤️ 😊

Those familiar with my new-upload posts will recognize my “detail” screen shot via Fine Art America’s full resolution option. And of course, you can move the little green box around to pick what to look at, in detail 😊

The full resolution preview tool is great of course, but having the painting, or seeing it live is a huge impact.

As my artist friend, Tiffany Arp-Daelo says, “seeing it [ an art work ] in person makes a huge difference, the texture is another dimension! 🙏😉 “
