December 04, 2021 – Delivering New Art to the Old Bakery and Emporium (across from the State Capital) Austin, Texas – Peace, a New Holiday Painting

A very short post as I’m on the run, lol! Holiday run, fitness run (well, walk), painting run, and family connecting!

I hope you enjoy this pic of my 16×20 holiday painting entitled, Peace.

We tried all kinds of variations of that title, but this one stuck ❤️

Took it down to the Old Bakery downtown Austin.

Yes, traffic was terrible, lol!

And yes, it was good to get it there before much later into December. And, I did sell another print, this one a 12×18 of one of my watercolors, Spring is a Lady – hoping to feature it on the next 🙏 It hasn’t gotten the “most viewed” notation like it’s counterpart, Summer is a Lady, but still has received a healthy # of views, and now of course, a sale – so, no complaints from me!

Peace, my delivered painting, itself has gone through several metamorphoses to completion, starting way back to August this year (2021) when I was tentatively calling it Holiday Walk; I’d posted about it early September –

Til about a month ago it was still a vertical work, but decided it wanted to be a more peaceful horizontal piece; I’m very glad it finally worked out well ☺️

Stay well everyone! Don’t let the newest Covid variant (Omnicron?) do any harm —
Wonderful holidays everyone!

    • Can only wish for many more, lol! But thanks so much, Tiffany! We keep on plugging 😊 And thank you about “Peace” – I worked on it on and off for over 2 months, it just kept evolving, and it was kinda fun going back to it and layering the paint, hadn’t ever done that with acrylic before (vs oils) 😊
