Intro
Another of my idea-searches for something at least relatively easy for me to post when I’d rather be painting, eating, sleeping, walking, or other random unrelated surprise opportunities the day might bring 😊

The big time saver is the image isn’t already posted to Fine Art America, or anywhere else, though it might end up on FB eventually, lol! When I have time, this image, or some variation or adjusted version of it mightend up on FAA. I’d like it to. It’s all a matter of time.

I’d like to say this feature’ll normally show up later to end of the day ’cause I’m looking for the day’s best shot, but – it’s really more to let me live the day and see what happens….

That said, if I don’t like any of the day’s pictures, there’ll be none.

I want this to be, at the least, interesting ☺️

This evening I’m aiming for two image uploads, the 1st already posted, a Google Maps screenshot of the area of the Barton Creek Greenbelt closest to my wife and I. This image is to try and show how quickly water accumulates in the creek, even the little rain we got yesterday! In comparison, some of my early shots, when I could venture all the way out onto the middle of the creek, show how dry, (and it happens quickly this time of year) the creek bed can get! Though Sheila and I lived on and off for several decades just east of the greenbelt, we were much closer to Butler Park, and the walking trail round Lady Bird Lake, we mostly explored and enjoyed that area. This promises to add much to the richness we enjoyed before, and should be fun to document and, eventually, sooner rather than later I hope, paint 😊

Stay healthy everyone! I’m sure there’s folks depending on you, and don’t forget, you are too! 💕

    • Me too, lol! But yes, there does seem to be as many (and different) great spots around us here, on the west side of Barton Springs, as when we were closer (south) to Lady Bird Lake years earlier; I’m prepping myself to paint! 😊
