Meditation & Art

Synergy is the benefit that results when two or more agents work together to achieve something either one couldn’t have achieved on its own….”

Though I’d used Barton Springs Autumn in a post before, it was prior to my start with Fine Art America in 2016, so when I went to update one of my first meditation posts, Meditation: Am I Doing It Yet? Part 1 — “who defines meditation?”, I saw a faded shot of my art taken years ago with a less sensitive camera, and, quite frankly, as a less camera savvy photographer 😊

I found I’d already created new image files, with new truer color pictures via my one year old Canon compact (w/one inch sensor)!

Why?

Because I’d just gotten notice this painting was accepted for the early fall Jerry’s Artarama U.S. Veterans Art Show!

I’ve done several Veterans shows like this, sponsored by Robb McKenzie. A real treat and a real honor.

But –

It made me wonder: was this a coincidence?

Or meant to be?

Doing a major update of one of my early 2011 blog posts on meditation AND having the same featured image from that post accepted into a new art show? To be delivered this weekend!

Even it doesn’t mean anything, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and thought I’d share this little whiff of micro-cosmic synchronicity with ya’ll 😊

Does It Even Matter?

Within my own limited scope, probably not…

But, the fact that the question arises (smoke) means there’s probably something (fire) somewhere 😊

Even if benign. Even unanswerable. Even if irrelevant.

Einstein’s said to have said, “”The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”

Good enough for me 💜

    • So glad you liked it, Tiffany – it’s a semi-oldie we re-discovered when we unloaded our decade long climate storage. Sheila was surprised how well it held up, said it’d stayed so vibrant! Yes, was in the US Air Force, mostly stationed in the Florida panhandle (that I’d never seen before) – beautiful beaches w/tall pines – nice! 😊 The Einstein curiosity quote is one of my fav’s; helps bolster me when I begin to doubt my interest in things 😊
