After watching the latest Brokenwood Mysteries installment out of New Zealand with Sheila, I didn’t have much time for more than a quick shot of the last of today’s sunset, with temps finally just below 90 after another 102 degree day.

December 13, 2021 – #AcornTV Shows With Women Leads My Wife & I Both Like, Part 1 – #AgathaRaisin and #QueensofMystery
These shows via Acorn TV on Amazon Prime, comedic or otherwise, though carefully crafted to convey a character, still ring true with complex characterization’s of women I find interesting, compelling and worth watching what else they’ll come up with – and from our shared giggles and hoots, I’d say my wife does too, lol!

May 24, 2021 – 1st Episode of “Hacks” on HBO Max – “There is No Line” with Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder – 4 Stars + Very Promising
I immediately started liking “Hacks” from the 1st few minutes, while Sheila had to warm up to it over the course of the 1st episode. That’s ok, it took her 3 tries when I first met her to get her to go to lunch w/me, lol!

“My names is Hah-nah” : Hanna – 2nd Season – Amazon Prime Original – a Streaking 5 Stars!!!!!
“Neither my wife nor I had much hope the follow-up to Season 1’s absolute thriller could come close, much less surpass, the intense when’s-it-gonna-end suspense and tension of this remarkably very modern, very relevant to our times fictional series!“

Adan’s Movie/Cable TV Reviews – The Frankie Drake Mysteries – PBS via Prime Video – Season1, Five Stars!
“There’s also a great blend of four main characters, including Frankie – of an interesting mix of sizes, shapes, personalities, and ethnicities. All very capable, and yet, with terrific emotional nuancing, quite vulnerable. These are courageous women wanting their share of the world.”

Adan’s Movie/Cable TV Reviews – “Howard’s End” – Outstanding Beyond Expectation! – ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
“I’m still processing the details of why and how this particular production via Masterpiece has stuck with both myself and my wife so strongly. There was no doubt, by the end of Episode 1 (of 4), I very much wanted to watch this….”
