April 27, 2022 – Aging Gracefully : Finding a Blogging Solution When My Days Are ( mostly ) Spent Exercising, Painting and Relaxing with Sheila
When I was younger, say even a 11 years ago when I started this blog, I had enough energy there really wasn’t a question of “enough time” or “energy” – I simply, correctly, assumed I’d be able to squeeze in the time to do all the things I wanted or felt I needed to do.

December 21, 2021 – 2 Art Products I Like and Use on Amazon : #Arteza and #Golden
First I thought it really is too late for the Christmas shopping season. Then I thought, hey, Christmas is all year, and so is art, lol! So here’s 2 lines of products from two art vendors I use “a lot” in my work currently and thought they might be worth exploring or knowing about for…

December 13, 2021 – #AcornTV Shows With Women Leads My Wife & I Both Like, Part 1 – #AgathaRaisin and #QueensofMystery
These shows via Acorn TV on Amazon Prime, comedic or otherwise, though carefully crafted to convey a character, still ring true with complex characterization’s of women I find interesting, compelling and worth watching what else they’ll come up with – and from our shared giggles and hoots, I’d say my wife does too, lol!

December 09, 2021 – 4 Art Titles and Covers That Caught my Eye on Amazon
I did a series like this, for poetry titles, a bit back in April this year (2021), and thought I really should do this and maybe a few others for the shopping season, and just to have as reference any time of year, with this one being for art 😊 🎨 👩🎨 To retweet, simply…

October 02, 2021 – Final Review + Personal Reflections of “Breath : The New Science of a Lost Art” by James Nestor
As per my 2nd (previous) posting of my reading and review-as-I-went of James Nestor’s, “Breath, the New Science of a Lost Art” – I wasn’t exactly sure where his a very savvy journalistic, yet personally involved, narrative was taking me : a surprise letdown (no), a mixed verdict (not exactly), a resounding affirmation (sorta), or…

September 26, 2021 – Continuing Review of “Breath (nearly 1/2 read): The New Science of a Lost Art” by James Nestor
Almost half way through “The New Science of a Lost Art”, I am in a swirl of conflicting interacting sometimes ecstatic emotions, much like how the author, James Nestor, has brilliantly presented the past (and often still present misconceptions) and present, with the still-developing future medical awareness – and confirmation – of how our most…

September 21, 2021 – Initial Review of “Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art” by James Nestor
I’d been doing a day to day posting of a continuing study-sketch project with figures in a watercolor landscape and ran into a time roadblock – grandchild, groceries, fitness (walking, yoga, Essentrics), picking up line art to practice-paint at my printer, etc 😊 and wasn’t able to wiggle any more time to work on that…

September 06, 2021 – Wife and I’s Labor Day Labor of Love Weekend Treat, Watching #TheCourier with #BenedictCumberbatch @PrimeVideo
At nearly two hours in length, we could’ve still watched it in one sitting, but the pandemic, and maybe our age (70s) has given us the sometimes-patience to have watched this brilliant Cold War movie (of events Sheila and I lived through in our youth) piece by piece; in-between free exercise videos from Essentrics, a…

July 30, 2021 – What a Difference a New Keyboard Makes : LENRICH iPad pro 12.9 case with keyboard
This is an older now discontinued keyboard, but one of the few still available for my IPad Pro 2nd generation model (current model is 5th generation I believe), but I’m impressed with it enough to post about it and (if all continues well) my renewed ease of use not having to use the onscreen keyboard…
