I only painted a few minutes, ten or so, after mixing matte gel medium and a touch of acrylic rose, and I could only do it because I’m hopeful!

Having to resume antibiotics as one of my surgeons got lab results on a mucus sample from my surgery showing growth – so am blessedly kicking back til some blood clotting and fatigue fade away again 🙏

Just got word today two of my 10×20 gallery wrap acrylics have been juried into a show I’ve never done with Creative Arts Society before, at Riverbend Church’s “Inspirational Gallery” in Austin’s western side – yes, hills! 😊

Yesterday, Labor Day, time got away from us, mixing down time watching Morse, the late 80’s predecessor to Masterpieces’ equally engaging Endeavor, plus finalizing forms for our before-dawn checkin for surgery.

I wanted to find out if the main reason “I” felt I was yawning – tension release / relaxing – especially during more intense-to-me routines, and some strength sets I deliberately do slower than demo’d, was on track. And it is! Among lots of other good reasons…

After watching the latest Brokenwood Mysteries installment out of New Zealand with Sheila, I didn’t have much time for more than a quick shot of the last of today’s sunset, with temps finally just below 90 after another 102 degree day.

By a little after 8 this evening the temps had dropped a bit below 100 finally, and I got Sheila to model her new dress for me on the balcony! I told her the Fitbit on her wrist worked perfect with the whole effect!
